Over the course of my 30+ years of practice, I have been admitted to practice in numerous jurisdictions (state and federal) to practice law.  I have litigated cases, or had appeals, in each of these jurisdictions.  The courts and my admission dates are:

1.   Vermont Supreme Court (and all lower Vermont state courts) – 1987
2.   United States District Court for the District of Vermont – 1988
3.   United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit – 1993
4.   Supreme Court of the State of Michigan (and all lower Michigan state courts) – 1994
5.   United States District Court for the Western District of Michigan – 1994
6.   United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit – 1994
7.   United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan – 2001
8.   United States District Court for the Southern District of New York – 2007
9.   United States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio – 2014
10. United States District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin – 2015
11.  United States Tax Court – 2019

I have also been admitted pro hac vice in numerous other courts (e.g., California, New Hampshire, Delaware).  Those admissions allowed me to handle particular litigation cases in those jurisdictions in conjunction with local attorneys.
